On June, 20-21, 2004, PROPHE's Regional Center
for Central and Eastern Europe is organizing an International
Workshop entitled
“In Search of Legitimacy: Issues of Quality and Recognition
in Central and Eastern European Private Higher Education”
The International Workshop has received a grant from the
Higher Education Support Program (HESP) of the Open Society Institute
in Budapest, Hungary
The Workshop presents the main step of a larger Project that focuses on
the private higher education sector in Central and Eastern Europe and
the former Soviet republics.
